Aythaya Wine Estates
A sunset dinner at the vineyards adds a touch of glamour and class to the trip.
Myanmar’s first vineyard has a surreal Mediterranean feel with sloping hills and neatly tended rows of grape varietals, including cabernet sauvignon and syrah vines from France, moscato from Italy, dornfelder from Germany, sauvignon blanc from Bordeaux, and temparanillo from Spain. The vineyard offers tours taking visitors through the wine making process and caps with wine tasting of a classic red, crisp white or refreshing rose. The vineyard was founded in 1997 and run by German-born vintner, Bert Morsbach. As the terroir — the climate, geology and geography of a place – matures with the vines, the quality wines produced by Aythaya merges the unique combination of world-classes grapes with Myanmar memories.
Red Mountain Estates Vineyard
